Using the Panorama Applet in your Web Browser:
- Initially the panorama is rotated automagically
according to a viewing heuristic intended to feel natural.
And yes, the speed does change.
It rotates continuously thru 360 ° irrespective of whether the
image actually is a "full circle" panorama.
To navigate or "drive" the page,
use any of the user interface mechanisms described below.
-
Mouse
- Shift Click — ZOOOOOOM in
- Control Click — ZOOOOOOM out
- Click and Drag — Pan around
-
Arrow Keys (In/Out Up/Down)
- Shift the KEY — ZOOOOOOM in
- Control KEY — ZOOOOOOM out
- Left, Right, up and Down — Pan around
-
When you are at the outermost zoom level (the default), the Up an Down buttons seem to not function
because there is nowhere to go — you are already seeing all of the panorama (at least vertically).
- Refresh the page to resume the automatic rotation of the panorama.
In IE this is: "Refresh (F5)"; using FireFox it's "Reload Ctrl+R "
-
If you get "not enough memory..." (or any other unexpected problem),
do a Refresh as described above.
