Digital Media Magik — Digital Photography (PhotoShop Magik)

Professional Photographers change images in ways that are familiar to most people — lightening pictures that are too dark, "fixing" overexposed pictures, or adjusting the color balance. At DigitalMediaMagik.com we can do that too. But what about changes that are way more radical than that?

Here are some example of what I term "PhotoShop Magik":

Putting people into pictures who just couldn't make it to the party?
Taking people (or any unwanted objects) out of pictures who you wish had not been there?
Making one picture out of two because everyone has a nice smile in the two "combined" but not in any one of them.
Getting rid of shadows such as those covering people's faces.

The navigation tree (on the left) shows some examples of the kind of "magik" I'm referring to, featuring a specialized User Interface that lets you actually see the image editing steps that created the magik.

The article "Software Changes History" from a recent newspaper describes this notion in layman's terms — including a story about taking an "x" out of pictures "so you can look at them again". You can also Google up countless examples of this kind of "image editing".
