The 1990s in Madison County, AL, right near Harvest, AlabamA.

This picture was taken in our back yard, in Alabama, in 1992. Only 15 minutes from the Tennessee border, this county near Huntsville Alabama, was where we spent most of the 90s. Snow in Alabama 1992 We got freezing cold weather every year, and snow - albeit never lasting for more than 24 hours - just about every year. And then, once in a while, you'd get a real snow fall where the snowman would still be there the next day.

The 90s was a fabulous time in my life cause my girls were growing up - from infancy to their early elementary school years - we lived in Madison County right near Huntsville, Alabama. One of Huntsville's biggest claims to fame is the Space And Rocket Center, an offshoot of the Marshall Space Flight Center - the control center for many of the space shuttle missions. Every July 4th we would go to the MSFC complex to enjoy the fireworks that they would put on for the community.

Surely I can come up with lots of more interesting details about the place where I've lived longer than any other single address outside of growing up with my family in Canada...!
