Trip To Hawaii

When you win a Free Trip To Hawaii, that is, once I really implement this, you will have something (here!) like a DropDown ListBox with a set of choices where you will see the captions for a number of pictures of Hawaii. The "Go" button will take you there, but only - of course - when you've actually won the trip fair and square.

Each time you win a free trip, you will get to select and "own" another one of the pictures. This will enable a hot link which will bring up the picture in a pop-up window. To see as far as I've gotten with this, go look at this specific Javascript demo.

Vaguely based on Wheel Of Fortune, this one is called
Las Vegas! because it's also very much like the hangman game upon which it was based.

Here are the rules for playing this game:

In this section I list some of more esoteric things about how Las Vegas! works without claiming that these are actually the rules of the game.

Until I really finish this, herein I will just list the current things that don't work.

Ideas for improvements...

If you are interested in grabbing this game for your own use off-line, remember that Las Vegas! is JScript™ and [therefore?] doesn't work with Netscape. Of course, if you figure out how to change this so that it does work with Netscape - I'm all ears! Afterall, JScript™ is supposed to be Javascript compatible... If you do anything other than just use this source privately, you might want to give credit to the original model that this source was based on (and did I mention that yours truly also had a hand in it?).

Thankyou for playing
Las Vegas!
